Baked Jumbo Pasta Shells

Baked Jumbo Pasta Shells; Jumbo Pasta shells stuffed with ricotta cheese. In this video we are taking what we learned from the lasagna video, and spinning it for stuffed shells with ricotta cheese. Ingredients
:

  • 12 large pasta shells
    15 ounces ricotta cheese
    1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
    1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
    1 egg, beaten
    Salt and pepper, to taste
    1 (24-ounce) jar pasta sauce

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta shells and cook according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper.
  • Stuff the cheese mixture into the cooked pasta shells and place them in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Pour the pasta sauce over the top of the stuffed shells.
  • Bake the stuffed shells in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are hot and bubbly.
  • Remove the stuffed shells from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
